Smite features 5 game modes to choose from. Conquest is classic and the most difficult one. It’s the only one where players fight each other.

Competitive matches last an average of 30 minutes. Two teams of up to 5 players each do their nest to destroy the Titan, the phoenixes and the enemy base.

Titans are invincible as long as the phoenixes are alive. They are inside the crystal, which will collapse when the Titan’s immunity decreases. Phoenixes give Titan a bonus health. Phoenixes and towers in the game are highlighted from below.

The mode map consists of three lines and a jungle in between. It is symmetrical and clearly divided in half. Players always know which half they are on. The main locations and objects are visible above the treetops. This helps users navigate the jungle.

There are big scorpions on each side of the map: the Golden Fury and the Fire Giant. Killing a scorpion will improve the Reinforcement Camp on the side of the map where it occurred. In addition to the basic effects the players will enjoy improved boosts with additional bonuses.

In addition to the big scorpion, the mode features three small scorpions: 2 on the long lines, 1 on the short line. Wounded scorpions create an aura that can heal for 10 seconds.

New players in the Conquest mode can receive hints, item recommendations and even waypoints leading to lines and targets.

According to professional players, each mode in Smite has its own leading gods. In the Conquest mode, the most effective are Artio, Bellona, Cabrakan, Cerberus, Odin, Osiris, Cliodhna, Ymir, Rama, Ra, Guan Yu, and Thor.
