SMITE developers invite fans to create and publish Bob Ross-inspired fan art for the game by June 6. The winner will be chosen on June 8 at the Hi-Rez Art Show. The prize for the best artwork is a three-hour virtual class given by a certified Ross instructor, with all the necessary materials.

To participate in the contest, you must tag @HirezArtShow and @SmiteGame when posting your work. All participants will receive a Happy Little Painter skin. For inspiration, Hi-Rez suggests watching a video with Bob Ross.

The game already features the Bob Ross set, which is available to Sylvanus, Keeper of the Wild. The introduction of this set in SMITE was called a “happy little accident”. As you may have guessed, the event was dedicated to the artist Bob Ross. Each item was created in collaboration with the Bob Ross estate organization. The set includes a “Bob Ross” skin for Sylvanus, a loading frame and a jump mark.

Sylvanus can set up an easel and spray paint on everyone around. The use of the set changes the abilities of the Keeper of the Wild to the style and character of the artist. Sylvanus can summon happy trees and smiling clouds, as well as draw one of the pictures on the ground beneath him, and inflict huge damage on enemies.

Silvanus is an old and wise character who calmly watches the passage of time. His laughter can be heard in the noise of the leaves, his touch makes the flowers bloom, and his voice can calm the fiercest beast. He is peaceful and patient. But when hostilities reach his domain, has no other option but is to fight.
