In SMITE, picking up gods whose characteristics match well is very important for a successful game. Each player has a different role. In SMITE, a balanced team roster can make a big difference in winning. Our tips will help you build an effective team:

  • Choose your hero wisely, using information about the gods your opponent has already chosen. For example, if you have a last pick, and you can be the last one to choose your god. Always analyze which character can defeat the enemy god. We understand that most players already have a list of gods they are accustomed to. But you must always remember that every situation needs a different god for victory;

  • In SMITE, each god has a role. And choosing, for example, another midlaner in the team, instead of the supporter needed at the moment, will be ineffective;
  • Do not forget about the possibility of banning the gods. Only the team captain can ban the gods, but every player can suggest ideas in the chat. In particular, if you don’t like to play against certain gods, you can ban them first.
  • Remember that once all the team members have chosen their gods, you can swap characters;
  • Experienced players advise hiding your chosen strategy as much as possible by choosing gods with different roles first. Such disorientation of the opponent will prevent him from making the necessary counter picks, and depending on his pick, you may be able to change the placement of heroes.
